Surfliner is our version of the classic Short Sleeve Zip Polo Sweatshirt made popular back in the mid 50's to mid 60's by folks from all walks of life from motorcycle riders to the surfers on the west coast as the go to staple garment offering comfort for a whole range of weather conditions. The practical details featured on this beauty like the binded edge front pocket and zipper placket and one piece folded collar are flawlessly executed resulting in a instant classic. The zipper is a thing of beauty and we're really proud to offer a high quality 6" stamped brass teeth and puller of the classic Hookless brand from the 40's. The body fabric is a mid weight 8oz. 100% combed cotton french terry and we believe that it is the perfect perfect weight for all season wear. Split needle Cover stitch details throughout combined with single needle stitching on the collar, placquete and pocket. The sleeves are fashioned with a rib detail that offers a clean finish and a snug fit that keeps the sleeve opening from stretching and in turn helping to keep your body heat better regulated. We're confident that the Surfliner will become your most versatile garment you will own and it will see heavy rotation in your everyday kit selection.
